Cveta Stoeva is a young, but very talented author and “Men” is her first book.  It was a privilege for our studio to be chosen for the project. We’ve created a simple, clean website, based on the colors of the already designed book cover. The figure with the words is creation of the author herself. The rest of the site is done by us. As most of our other sites – this one also has an easy to maintain CMS system. The main design is fluid and the content layout is left aligned due to the text information and some readability reasons. There is a blog section, some static pages, some extra links, a book order form, a flash version of the cover of the book and advertisement of the sponsors of the book in the top right corner.

There’s an ordering form, so that one can order the book with special autograph from the author. You can write the wanted message by yourself while ordering the book through this form.

Part of the site design is this flash, an animation of the real book cover – Man, peeing the title. The flash here is looped for the purpose of the presentation. Go and check the real website at cvetastoeva.com. And why not read the book ?

We are very happy with all the branding designs created for Back2bg .com ( logo, stationery design, event branding, web header design, web banner design ). The project itself is very interesting because as the name says - it’s dedicated to people who studied abroad and now want to find a job in Bulgaria.
Like many of our works – this one is also designed to ring bells and provoke questions. No title, just  a little cute figure going somewhere or may be a funny Exit Pictogram Sign.. Sometimes the Exit is actually the place where you are coming from. The place where you are returning. Most people go out of Bulgaria to study and look for their happiness but some of them could not find it and they are returning. Step backwards is sometimes a great opportunity.

We’ve designed a few more pictograms in order to develop further the idea from the logo design – the character, who’s reading the paper, trying to find a job. Now he has 4 more buddies – the “exit man”, the “employer”, the “wondering man” and the “web user”.

The complimentary colors are yellow and orange, creating fresh, young, positive bond with the reader.

This is one of our favorite leaflet projects because the client trusted us and we’ve created a clean, modern, memorable  design.

BassHeads is  a London based DNB music label, that consists of a few cool DJs. The logo design above is our favorite from the few proposals we’ve created. Our design purpose was to achieve something memorable with really a few strokes. Since icons are very popular in the London town and they are central part of the city visual culture – we’ve decided to go with the pictogram idea. Overal : the clients were very satisfied with the strong image we’ve created, but because of some other reasons they are now currently using another logo for their brand materials. For now

BgSolar is a company, designing and building photovoltaic systems. The book “Photovoltaics for Professionals” was originally printed in German. Since it’s a pretty good book, but it wasn’t yet published in Bulgaria – they’ve decided to publish it for the local market. We were commissioned by BgSolar to make the adaptation in Bulgarian (text, images, infographics and design layout ; cover adaptation) . We did also the pre-press of the book and designed some of the print advertisements inside. The end product is very satisfying. It was a pleasure working on this project.

It’s a simple nice low-cost invitation card.

Working with two or more materials is always very effective. The main body is from a typical “wedding” glossy cardboard. The ribbon is semi transparent and in the color as the printed text. The holes where the ribbon goes through are made with a perforator with this exact heart-shape ( there are some more shapes available in the stores ).

We are very happy with the result : this invitation card shows that everything that is done with love could be beautiful no matter of the budget.

At the end of 2008 we had the task to think of a simple and elegant design concept for the Patishta Plovdiv AD 2009 calendar. Since the company is in the business of building and maintaining roads and highways we’ve decided to use impressive nature images that show roads passing through different landscapes. We’ve selected 12 different images for every month presenting the typical metamorphosis of the nature through the 4 seasons in Bulgaria. 12 different slogans were selected to serve like a motto of the month. All of the slogans carry wise messages on the topic of travelling and contain words like “road” and “way” inside.

For November we’ve chosen a latin proverb most commonly attributed to the famous Carthaginian military commander Hannibal:  ” We will either find a way, or make one! “

The famous words: “There are no shortcuts to any place worth going” were selected for the August page.

This is the logo of the Mountain Bike Bulgaria Society.
