Logo Design for a cultural tourism route in Sofia
  • Logo & brand design
Post Image

Sofiyskata Sveta Gora ( The Saint Wood of Sofia) is a pilgrimage and cultural tourism route in Vitosha mountain in Sofia. Recently there was a contest for the route logo design. These are our proposals.

branding and logo design

Logo 1 is a temple mysteriously hidden in the wood. The simple repeating shapes create visual vibration and aura.

Logo 2 is a temple vault carried by three trees that play the role of columns.

negative space logo design

Logo 3 is an interesting play with the negative space – a huge tree is hugging the silhouette of a monastery. The size of the tree speaks about a place with a long history.

This is our favorite of all proposals. Three pine trees in a queue, the last one has an halo over it and this makes the pine tree look like a saint or angel. The 3 pine trees also look like people walking after each other. The font is custom made, its artistic lines make a friendly look of the logo.

In Logo 5 the repeating shapes create a sense of rhythm and movement in particular direction. The lines form 3 temple vaults, 3 trees and a path through the wood.

Logo 6 depicts some ruins and churches in the shape of an arc. In the negative space the silhouette of a mountain is hidden. The orange color is very friendly and appropriate for tourism logos.
